But the voice is not something to control — it’s something to understand and be in relationship with.” ©

how to prepare for the first meeting?

In this video, I explain how to prepare for your first session so you can feel more confident, comfortable and supported when we meet.

You're about to have your first vocal session — here's how you can prepare.

Choose two songs you'd like to sing — ideally one slower and one more energetic. One verse and one chorus of each is enough.

You don't need to memorize the lyrics. Feel free to have them on your phone or tablet. If possible, I'd encourage you to sing a cappella. I'll give you the starting note, so there's no need to worry about the key.

We'll also do a few simple vocal exercises to get to know your voice. We'll start comfortably and gradually explore your range. This isn't a test or a performance — the more naturally I hear your voice, the better I can understand it and support you.

And finally, be kind to yourself. It's completely normal to feel nervous before a first lesson. Confidence doesn't mean being free from fear — it means showing up despite it.

I'm looking forward to meeting you. See you soon!
